“I’ve been involved with Blackline Shipping
since Joe Akacich founded it in 1995. Since
that time, we’ve grown rapidly to become one
of Australia’s leading marine craft repair
and refit companies.
We’re based on the Gold Coast, but thanks to
our June integration with the Viking
Industries Limited group, we now have access
to the resources of the Brisbane Marine
Industry Park, along with top-class marine
applications and interior fitout expertise.
This means we can offer clients a one-stop
shop.
Projects are managed whereby boats can be
dropped off with a job list, and the owners
and skippers kept informed of the work
through daily updates by email or telephone.
Having spent over 15 years at sea and built
many boats, I know exactly what the required
standard is.
We love our work and we want our clients to
love it, too.”
